Car And Travel Trailer Are Destroyed In Fire Thursday Near Scranton

The Jefferson and Scranton Fire Departments and a deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle and trailer fire Thursday afternoon southeast of Scranton. The report was received at approximately 4:19 p.m. regarding the incident in the 600 block of 300^th Street. Upon arrival, they found a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix and a 2008 travel trailer engulfed in flames. Both were a total loss. The cause of that fire remains under investigation.
