A vehicle was deemed a total loss early this (Thursday) morning following a fire in Carroll. The Carroll Fire Department responded to the reported blaze at 211 W. Bluff St. at approximately 5:08 a.m. When crews arrived on the scene, they discovered a burning 1998 Buick sedan parked in the property’s driveway. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and returned to the station at approximately 5:37 a.m. It is not clear how the fire started, but it appears to have begun in the engine compartment or dash cluster. The vehicle was deemed a total loss due to the damage it sustained.
