At the Carroll Chamber of Commerce annual banquet Monday night, a husband and wife team was presented the 2016 New Business of the Year Award. Pat and Sue Gehling, of GehlPRO Welding, started their business in March 2014, and award presenter, Kimberly Tiefenthaler, says the company embodied the spirit of entrepreneurship since their opening nearly three years ago.
GehlPRO Welding received the Spirit of Excellence Award from the Carroll Area Development Corporation (CADC) in 2014, only six months after opening their doors. Pat and Sue were proud of their company after being recognized as the community’s top new business.
