Iowa Secretary of State, Paul Pate, is urging voters to respond quickly to change of address notices. The National Change of Address process to update and maintain Iowa voter’s registration records is underway and over the next few weeks, voters who have filed with the U.S. Postal service will receive a card in the mail from their county auditor saying the USPS says they have moved. Voters who receive these cards in the mail should indicate if the new address is incorrect and quickly return it to the county auditor’s office. “We want to ensure Iowa’s voter rolls are as accurate and up-to-date as possible,” Pate said. “This is an important process for all 99 county auditors to partake in, and I appreciate their efforts to help us account for address changes and other factors that could impact the voter rolls. For more information, contact your county auditor’s office.
