The Jefferson Fire and Police Departments were called to a truck fire at Midland Power on Monday morning. At approximately 9:46 a.m., crews were dispatched on the report of a boom truck that had started on fire inside the building. Upon arrival, authorities found employees had used a forklift to pull the burning truck outside. Their quick reaction saved the structure, but the boom truck sustained extensive fire damage.
