No Injuries Reported In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Scranton

The Greene County Sheriff’s office responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 25 and 300th Street South of Scranton at approximately 3:26 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4. A 2010 Ford F250 driven by 55-year-old Robert James Hofbauer of Coon Rapids was northbound on Highway 25 and attempting to stop at the stop sign at 330th Street when a 2002 Ford Taurus SE driven by 87-year-old Dorris Arlene Daily of Bayard rounded the intersection to turn south, striking the Hofbauer truck. No injuries were reported in the accident, but the Hofbauer vehicle sustained an estimated $1,500 in damages and the Dailey vehicle reported an estimated $3,000 in damages. Dailey was cited for Failure to Yield Half of the Roadway.
