Fort Dodge Woman Inured After Striking Utility Pole In Single-Vehicle Accident

A single-vehicle rollover accident at approximately 4:26 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 sent 20-year-old Lexie Rae Crimmins of Fort Dodge to Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge with non-life threatening injuries. According to the Greene County Sheriff’s office, Crimmins was northbound on X Ave. northeast of Paton when she lost control of her vehicle, entered the east ditch and struck an electrical utility pole. Her 2014 Ford Fiesta was considered to be a total loss. Damage to the ITC utility pole was estimated at $8,000. Crimmins was wearing her seat belt and the air bags did deploy. She was cited for Failure to Maintain Control. Greene County Emergency Medical Services assisted at the scene.
