A South Carolina man was arrested on outstanding Walton County Georgia warrant on Thursday night in Jefferson. At approximately 11:36 p.m., the Jefferson Police department, Boone County Sheriff’s office and the Greene County Sheriff’s office responded to a report that 52-year-old Weldon Dudley Roberts had been involved in a domestic assault in Grand Junction. Roberts was located at the Redwood Motel in Jefferson and taken into custody.
