A motorcycle driver and his passenger transported themselves to St. Anthony Regional Hospital for treatment of possible injuries after an accident on Apple Ave. near 230th Street south of Ralston yesterday (Sunday). The Carroll County Sheriff’s office reported to the scene at approximately 2:55 p.m. to find that 61-year-old Robert Alan Linde and his passenger, 53-year-old Kimberly Ann Linde of Glidden had been southbound on Apple Ave. on a 2006 Harley Davidson when a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by 59-year-old Kurt A. Schoon of Scranton failed to stop at a stop sign on 230th Street. There was no collision but the motorcycle entered the west ditch on its side and both the driver and passenger were ejected. There was an estimated $2,000 in damage to the motorcycle and no damages reported on the Schoon vehicle. Schoon was cited for Failure to Obey a Stop Sign.
