Twenty-one-year-old Paul Cameron Hackett of Carroll failed to see the left turn signal on a tractor pulling a grain cart driven by Cathy Ann Anderson of Lake City and struck the cart while attempting to pass at the intersection of Olympic Ave. and 280th Street south of Willey on Tuesday afternoon at approximately 4:33 p.m. No one was injured in the accident, but there was an estimated $5,000 in damage to Hackett’s 2012 Dodge Charger and $1,000 in damage to the Parker Grain Cart. Hackett was cited for Passing within an Intersection.
