The Carroll County Board of Supervisors opened discussion on non-bargaining employees’ wages at Monday’s meeting, and Supervisor Neil Bock said they are asking everyone to pencil in the same amount for their departments.
Bock emphasized that this is a “soft” number and that no hard decision will be made until after they have met with all of the department heads. It will also be up to the head of each
The Supervisors are planning on meeting with all department heads prior to Jan. 1. Then shortly after the first of the year, they will start making final approvals on the increases. The final budgeted amount must be approved by March 1, but Bock believes they will be able to wrap it up much earlier than that.
