The new year is bringing some personnel changes to the Carroll Chamber of Commerce and Carroll Area Development Corporation (CADC). Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, said they are sorry to see her leave, but Reference Coordinator, Katie Lawler, will be retiring at the end of this month.
Landauer said they will be taking a step back and doing some evaluating before making any further steps in filling Lawler’s position.
And though they are saying goodbye to one employee, they are welcoming aboard a new one next week.
Uhlenkamp also has a public relations and marketing background, which Landauer said will help with their community outreach efforts. Sue Schrad retired from the Program Director position in December after over 30 years of service to the Chamber and the CADC.
