Girl Scout Cookie season will be here in short order, with sales opening on Monday, Feb 1 and remaining open until Sunday, March 20. This is only the second year that customers will be given the option of buying online or directly from their favorite Girl Scout. The Iowa app, called COCODirect, allows girls to take orders and have cookies shipped directly to the consumers or customers can visit the booth sale locator at girlscoutsiowa.org or download the convenient Cookie Finder app on their iPhone or Android phone to find cookie booths near them. The Girl Scouts are also offering the opportunity to share this taste of home with members of the Iowa Military with the cookie share program. Cost of the cookies is $4 per package and $5 for Gluten Free Trios. Everyone’s favorite flavors are available in their Thanks-a-Lots, Cranberry Citrus Crisps, Lemonades, Shortbreads, Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Caramel Delites and Peanut Butter Sandwiches.
