The Jefferson Police Department assisted the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol in executing a search warrant at 406-1/2 East State Street in Jefferson at approximately 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27. Officers located stolen property from a reported burglary that occurred in Jefferson on Feb. 18. They also located clothing used in another home burglary in Jefferson, reported on Feb. 17. Suspected narcotics and narcotic-related items were also removed from the residence. Charges are pending the completion of the investigation.
