The Iowa State University Retail Scapes Studio class will be returning to Jefferson on Monday, March 28, where they will present their ideas for design interventions with the community. Everyone is invited to attend this fair-like event from 2 to 4 p.m. in the business center at the Sierra Theatre. On Tuesday, March 29, any individuals interested in learning more about a new business startup and existing businesses looking to expand are invited to attend informational meetings at noon and again at 5:30 p.m. at the ISU Extension and Outreach office in Jefferson. Stephanie Koenig of the Small Business Development Center will discuss the services they offer, Ken Paxton with Greene County Development will present information on the financial resources available to businesses and Peg Raney of Jefferson Matters: Main Street will provide details on the Open 4 Business competition.
