At a special meeting on Monday afternoon members of the Carroll Community School Board approved the hiring of eleven new staff members. New hires include: Mallory Hackfort, a graduate of Carroll High School, for an elementary teaching position, 5th grade instructor Linsey Pick who will also coach 7th grade girls basketball, Sydney Crnkovich who will split her time as a part-time Elementary/Middle School instructor – Physical Education position and as a part-time instructor at the Middle School’s: At-Risk position. Crnkovich will also be coaching middle school volleyball.
Erin Stone was hired for the At-Risk position at the Carroll High School and Kelsey Blum will be working as a Special Education Instructor at the Carroll Middle School. Other new hires include summer school teachers Kim Renning and ESY instructor Tonia Ortner along with summer ESY Teacher Associates Katie Hausman, Kelsey Blum, and Morgan Kirsch. Melvin Buse was also hired as a seasonal/grounds custodial staff member for an eight-month period retroactive to April 4, 2016. All personnel recommendations were approved as presented to the board.
