Stolen Vehicle Found In Wild Rose Lot Tied To Truck Theft Sunday

On routine patrol in the parking lot at the Wild Rose Casino in Jefferson on Monday, May 2, an officer spotted a vehicle with a plate that did not match the vehicle description in the Iowa National Crime Information Center (NCIC) system. The officer then ran the vehicle identification number (VIN) for the 2015 Dodge Caravan to find it had been reported stolen from Pleasantville on Tuesday, April 26. The officer obtained surveillance video from the casino and observed the vehicle arriving in the lot at approximately 11:45 p.m., on Saturday, April 30, shortly before Craig Flack reported the theft of a 2008 Chevrolet K2500 HD (Heavy Duty) pickup from the casino parking lot. The video shows the same male subject suspected in the theft of the Flack vehicle arriving in the stolen van. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Additional photos of the suspect and the truck can be found below.
