John Bruno of All Ability Cycles in Jefferson will be taking part in a special event this morning (Wednesday) as the Heartland Area Education Agency is hosting a Carroll Track and Field Day at the Carroll football stadium.

Robin Olberding, Heartland AEA’s adapted physical education consultant, says the event is open to any children, grades kindergarten through 12, with special needs who attend a Heartland AEA school. There are a wide variety of activities planned for the event, including bowling, football, Frisbee and Nerf javelin throws and Bruno said they will be bringing along some equipment for use during the event.

The Carroll Track and Field Day gets underway at 10 a.m. this morning and go until noon.
