Next week the city of Lake View will be holding a Citywide Clean-Up Day. For a cost of $10.00 per household city staff and Rudd Sanitation will make stops picking up any metal, wood, and general rubbish which has been placed curbside and in piles at least ten feet apart. In order to participate residents must fill out an application and return it to city hall no later than this Friday, May 6, at noon. Appliances will also be accepted, but only if a required $20 disposal sticker is clearly visible on each unit. Any items left for pick-up must be curbside no later than 7:00 am on the date of a household’s normal garbage pick-up date on either Monday, May 9 or Tuesday, May 10.
