The Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) Board of Directors has announced the retirement of 11-year member, Mary Warner. Warner, who was the former owner of Alliance Insurance and Real Estate, had recently undergone knee surgery and as she continues her therapy at SMCH, she said she would not be able to commit the time needed to the board and has decided to step down. Rockwell City resident, Theresa Hildreth will be taking over the board seat and says she is very pleased to be involved in the healthcare realm again. Hildreth and her husband, Tom, operate Martin Hildreth Company, Inc. of Rockwell City. She also serves as the Administrative Director of the Rockwell City Chamber and Development, on the board of directors at Opportunity Living, is president of the Rockwell City Rotary Club and has served as a clerk in the Iowa Senate to Senators Kraayenbrink and Zumbach.
