As a part of his long-standing practice of holding annual meetings with Iowans in each of the 99 counties, U.S. Senator, Chuck Grassley, will be hosting a town hall meeting in Sac County on Tuesday, Aug. 16. Grassley, who has held these meetings every year since he was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1980, says that representative government is a two-way street and that a dialogue between the people of Iowa and their elected officials is imperative to maintaining that form of government. The Sac County town meeting will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the courtroom at the Sac County Courthouse in Sac City.
