New Vehicles For Carroll Police Department

Earlier this month, the Carroll Police Department solicited bids from local dealers for the purchase of two 2017 police package vehicles. Chief Brad Burke said the specifications for the vehicles was that they be four-wheel or all-wheel drive sport utility vehicles.

The total trade difference for the two vehicles is $32,283. Burke said the vehicles had already been factored into the department’s budget.

According to Burke, there will only be minor costs associated with changing out the current equipment to the new vehicles. The two Interceptors will be replacing 2013 and 2014 full-size, all-wheel drives currently in use.
