Senator Joni Ernst will be hosting her annual “Roast and Ride” Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines. She says this event, which is a great way to honor our veterans, to celebrate the best of Iowa and to hear from Republican candidates, is about moving forward for our nation. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 1 p.m. with a full slate of speakers, including: GOP Presidential Nominee, Donald Trump; Senator Chuck Grassley; Gov. Terry Branstad; Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds; Congressman Steve King; and many more. The 42-mile ride and BBQ will also include family-friendly activities and entertainment. Tickets to the event are $20 and can be purchased at www.RoastAndRide.com. The BBQ, beverages, parking, entertainment and the option to participate in the ride are all included in the price of admission.
