Iowa Area Agencies on Aging have joined forces with AARP Iowa and the Family Caregivers Center of Mercy to broadcast a live, online family caregiving event from Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday, Aug. 25. Featured author and speaker, Peter Rosenberger, will host the webinar titled, “Unstuck: Lightening the Heart of the Family Caregiver with Humor,” from 6 to 7 p.m. Iowans are invited to register for the free event by following the link below. Live simulcasts of the webinar will be held at select AARP state offices and partner locations across the country. Participants will learn how to lighten their heart, rediscover their identity and find a safe emotional path—with a healthy dose of Rosenberger’s outrageous humor and candor. Registrants will receive an electronic copy of Rosenberger’s book, “Seven Landmines for Caregivers and How You Can Avoid Them.”
