Raccoon Valley Electric Cooperative (RVEC) of Glidden has now partnered with five other rural electric cooperatives to form a new business, Iowa Choice Renewables, LLC. This joint effort to better serve customers will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 1. To fill a void for members or those wanting to own or learn more about energy choices through reliable, fact-based alternative energy options. The services offered by Iowa Choice Renewables will complement traditional electric utility services including a turn-key solar package that will offer potential cost savings and involvement in renewable energy. RVEC CEO, James Bagley said, “By forming Iowa Choice Renewables, we are excited to take this important step for our member-owners. Many want to be involved in renewable energy, but are confused by the choices and information provided in the market.
