On Saturday, Sept. 17, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office received notification from the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office of a suspected intoxicated driver on Highway 4 nearing Jefferson. A deputy located the vehicle south of town and followed the driver to witness his actions. The deputy then initiated a traffic stop and arrested 61-year-old Mark Lane of Jefferson and charged him with operating while intoxicated, second offense.
