At approximately 3:19 a.m. on Saturday morning, Marissa Olson of 706 West Harrison Street notified police that she woke up to see a man wearing a black mask inside her home, which she says was completely secured before she went to bed. She told the officer the man fled through a back door when he was spotted. The officer could find no signs of forced entry or the presence of an intruder. The three vehicle burglaries were reported between 9:55 a.m. Saturday and 7:47 p.m. on Sunday. Two of the victims said the thief took a purse and a wallet while the other said only a small amount of change was taken from the vehicle.
