Getting around Sac County will be a bit difficult this week due to two road construction projects in the region. Armstrong Avenue, about four miles west of Schaller, will be closed for road construction and maintenance which began Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. and will continue until 5 p.m. each day until Wednesday, Sept. 21. Another project on Rolf Avenue in Sac County is also closed this week south of Black Hawk Lake from 350th to 370th street. Construction began Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. and will continue until Friday, Sept. 23. Work at the sites will begin at 7:30 each morning and continue until 5 p.m. or the work is completed.
