Carroll Stadium Lighting Costs Lower Than Expected

The Carroll Stadium Committee is moving forward with the $6,215,000 plan to replace the dated stadium on North Grant Road. One of the most surprising costs of the potential upgrade was the lighting, originally estimated to be around $300,000 or $75,000 per pole. Stadium Committee Member, Jack Wardell, received a new price quote on that cost.

Getting the best stadium for the price is at the top of the committee’s list, and Wardell says the saving won’t be only on the construction costs.

The committee received the estimates from Musco Lighting, headquartered in Oskaloosa, which specializes in sport lighting from little league fields to professional sports arenas.
