Authorities in Storm Lake are reporting that on Tuesday, Nov. 15, a 50-year-old Tyson Foods Plant employee was airlifted to a hospital in Omaha, Neb. after cutting his own throat. The Storm Lake Police Department was notified at approximately 7 p.m. about the incident from several other employees who witnessed the man cut his throat during the shift. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was rushed to Buena Vista Regional Healthcare Center before being transferred to Omaha.
