At approximately 3:31 p.m. Friday afternoon, the Carroll Police Department responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident near the intersection of West 5th Street and North Main Street. A 17-year-old male driving a small SUV struck a 32-year-old female crossing the street in front of the Carroll 5 Movie Theater. The victim was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by the Carroll County Ambulance and is reported to have suffered minor injuries. The names of the driver and victim have not yet been released. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
