The Sioux City Diocese conducted an endowment campaign to commemorate their 100th anniversary in 2002. That campaign has once again provided grant funds to Kuemper Catholic Schools, according to President, John Steffes.
He said they have been able to use the funds over the past several years to help with staffing.
The long-term benefits of this endowment are something that many people have actually forgotten about, according to Steffes.
Steffes said Kuemper is blessed to have this support and for the great teachers, who look at their work as their ministry and their vocation. That, he said, is something contagious that spreads to the students.
