UPDATE–Three Vehicle Accident On Highway 30 Results In Only Minor Injuries

At approximately 12:19 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, the Carroll Police Department was called to the scene of a three vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 30 and Vine Street. Fifty-nine-year-old Donna Marie Riesberg of Carroll was stopped on 30 facing east in a 2016 Ford Explorer preparing to make a north turn onto Vine. As she was turning, Riesberg did not see a 2012 Ford Taurus, driven by 57-year-old Von Dale Hahn of Carroll. Hahn was unable to stop and collided with the Riesberg vehicle. The accident pushed the two automobiles into a third car, a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse driven by 50-year-old Michele Marie Bean of Carroll, that was facing south at the posted stop sign on Vine Street. The Riesberg vehicle received an estimated $8,000 in damage. The Hahn vehicle damages were estimated at $6,000, and the Bean vehicle was estimated at $1,000. Hahn and his passenger were transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by Carroll County Ambulance Services with reported minor injuries. Riesberg was issued a citation for failure to yield upon left turn.
