The Carroll City Council has a pretty full agenda for their next meeting on Monday, Jan. 9, and City Manager, Michel Pogge-Weaver, says they will begin with addressing the at-large vacancy left with the resignation of Brandon Vonnahme in mid-December.

The person recommended for that seat will not be revealed until Monday’s meeting. The council will also make various appointments to boards and commissions, will review the proposed urban renewal ordinance for the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) rebates for Dr. Steve Kraus’ Biokinimetrics building on Fifth Street, review the Fiscal Year 2016 annual audit, discuss bid openings for fire alarms at the Rec Center and set the special library/city hall meeting proposed for Monday, Jan. 16. After the routine business is completed, Pogge-Weaver said they will be moving into a work session on downtown signage.
