Dr. Michelle Sturm Named First Ever Young Professional Of The Year On Monday

A new award, the 2016 Young Professional of the Year, was presented at the Carroll Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet on Monday. Nominees needed to be under the age of 45 and a part of the Carroll Young Professionals (CYP). The winner was chosen based on their community involvement, leadership and participation within CYP. Austin Scott, president and creative director with Fusebox Marketing, presented the award to this year’s recipient.

Sturm is a Kuemper alumnus, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2011. She returned to Carroll after graduation to join Carroll Dental Associates and begin her own practice. She thanked everyone for their hard work and dedication in making Carroll a great place to live and work.
