The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of over $1,000 in farm equipment stolen last week. In the evening or early morning hours of Feb. 8 or 9, tractor weights were stolen off of a John Deere tractor in the 300 block of North Market Street in Audubon. The weights are estimated to be valued around $1,200 dollars. Authorities are asking for assistance from the public, and any information regarding the theft is requested to be passed on by contacting the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office at 712-563-2631 or Audubon County Crimestoppers at 712-563-2234.
