The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to three burglary reports within a half-hour period early yesterday evening (Wednesday). These three reports are added to another burglary report and two theft reports that came in on Monday, Feb. 13. Deputies are investigating Wednesday’s burglaries reported at 4:47 p.m. in the 1200 block of Neola Ave to the southwest of Jefferson; another reported at 5:10 p.m. in the 900 block of 190th Street northwest of Jefferson; and the third at 5:17 p.m. in the 1400 block of 160th Street north of Jefferson. On Monday, the Sheriff’s Office responded to reports at 7:34 a.m. in the 1800 block of 315th Street northeast of Jefferson; a theft report at 10:35 a.m. in the 1900 block of 277th Street southeast of Jefferson; and a burglary call at 12:18 p.m. in the 600 block of Hagar Street in Grand Junction.
