At approximately 5:45 a.m. this morning, there was an interruption in electrical service in Breda. Mayor Mike Schwabe said the Municipal Power outage and a propane leak are the result of a bin incident.

Schwabe said because of the propane leak, County Road East 16 has been closed on the east side of Breda and no traffic is being allowed on that road in or out of town until the issue is resolved.

He said they are also working with other agencies to address the power surges that have been occurring.
