The Carroll Chamber of Commerce is now taking applications for Carroll County Agricultural Scholarships. The scholarships are open to all Carroll County residents who are continuing their post-high school education in an ag-related field. A special livestock auction and donations from Carroll-area businesses fund the scholarship program. Two local students, Oliver Connor from Glidden-Ralston Schools and Christopher Onken from Carroll Community Schools, were the 2016 recipients. Applications are available at the Carroll Chamber of Commerce office or at high school guidance counselor offices. They are due back to the Chamber office by Wednesday, March 22.
