No injuries were reported in a collision on Highway 30 in Carroll on Thursday that left one vehicle totaled. The Carroll Police Department responded to a report of an accident at the intersection of Highway 30 and East Street at approximately 12:06 p.m. A 2006 Pontiac Torrent, driven by 71-year-old Connie Mary Weber, of Breda, was leaving the lot at Carroll Car Credit and failed to yield at the posted stop sign while pulling out onto the highway. A 2006 Western Star Semi, driven by 56-year-old James Walter Herrig, of Wall Lake, was travelling west on Highway 30 when the Weber vehicle struck the real wheel of the trailer. Carroll County Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene, evaluated those involved and indicated no serious injuries. Damage to the Weber vehicle is estimated at $10,000 and the damages to the trailer around $650. Weber was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
