The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) board of directors has moved their fiscal year 2018 budget workshop, originally scheduled for March 9, to their regular meeting next Monday. Superintendent, Rob Cordes, and Business Manager, Gary Bengtson, will give a presentation to board members to help prepare a certified budget for the year, which begins July 1. A certified budget tells the public the maximum amount the district will spend and is not necessarily how much they will spend. That budget must be submitted to the Carroll County Auditor by April 15. The board will also begin reviewing bids to move forward with financing options and site surveys for the stadium reconstruction project approved in February. The meeting begins at 5:15 p.m. in the Adams Elementary boardroom on Monday, March 20.
