Sears Holdings Corporation has made several announcements in the past two months about a restructuring plan that includes the closing of more than 150 stores and the sale of their signature tool brand, Craftsman. Dan Gold, who owns the Sears Hometown Store in Carroll said he wants to make sure that area residents are aware that their store is not a part of Sears Holding Corporation and will NOT be affected at all by their restructuring plan.
Gold took over ownership of the Carroll Sears Hometown store nearly 13 years ago, and says not only are they not impacted by the Sears Holdings closings, their business is thriving.
The AAE (America’s Appliance Expert) designation will result in a physical change to the store and the products that will be displayed as well as the way they are displayed. The renovations are expected to be completed within the next 45 days and the store will be holding a Grand Opening event soon afterwards. Gold says the Sears Hometown stores are well known for being very price competitive; offering real-time price checks to provide the guaranteed lowest prices, as well as exceptional service and professional advice. They will also service any merchandise, no matter where it was purchased. It does not even matter if it is a brand that Sears Hometown stores does not sell; they will service any and all brands. Gold says that as they work to provide even more high-quality service and expert advice, he wants people to keep one thing in mind when they hear national news stories on Sears Holdings Corporation.
We will bring you more about the upcoming Grand Opening when details become available.
