Fourth Congressional District Congressman, Steve King, made a stop for coffee with area constituents this morning in Carroll. He fielded questions on global issues, such as the Syrian bombings, the political unrest in Egypt that most recently culminated with the Palm Sunday suicide bombings at Coptic Christian churches and the infiltration of Radical Islamic Jihad that is global in proportion. He said that he has long identified a tiered plan to eliminate ISIS and all other Radical Islamic factions that starts with cyber and financial warfare then cuts to the core of the educational process that is building the jihadist mindset. His plan supports the continued formation of alliances, expansion of human intelligence and well-thought out kinetic actions. King says he is a proponent of helping others put their own boots on the ground in this fight and thereby redrawing the map of Middle Eastern controls. King also talked about some subjects much closer to home, such as the Tweet heard round the world that he says was misconstrued to be a racial issue, when he was really talking about culture and civilization.
