The community is invited to learn more about “Living with Joy in the Midst of Change,” in a special free presentation courtesy of St. Anthony Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 9 at Santa Maria Winery. The evening will begin with a social hour at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation by Tom Thibodeau will get underway at 7 p.m. Thibodeau will talk about how we are all affected by rapid changes in our institutions, communities and families and how Franciscan joy can help us get centered to live deliberately and confidently. He will also share insights into how to find internal joy, how to adapt to change and the importance of slowing down. “It’s essential to take time out of our busy schedules to reflect on the important things in life,” says Ann Fitzpatrick with St. Anthony’s Human Resources department. “Through this presentation, Tom will share his experience and help attendees learn how to prioritize and focus on the bigger picture,” Fitzpatrick adds.
