The Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA) congratulates Casey’s General Store on the first Iowa E15 and E85 station. Casey’s had recently announced their intentions to open 17 stations with both fuels in Iowa, Illinois and Kansas, with the first Iowa station located in Pella. The Pella store is the first of seven planned for across Iowa. “We are confident that Casey’s and its customers will have a positive experience with these fuels, and soon, E15 and E85 will be the new normal for Casey’s stores,” says IRFA Managing Director, Lucy Norton. E15 is 15 percent ethanol and 85 percent petroleum and approved for vehicles 2001 and newer. E85 is made of at least 70 percent ethanol and approved for all flexible fuel vehicles.
