The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run that damaged the Scranton community center. At approximately 12:18 p.m. on Tuesday, a deputy arrived at the scene in the 900 block of Madison Street. An unknown vehicle had jumped the curb and struck the air conditioning unit for the center. There is an estimated $3,000 in damages. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 515-386-2136.
