Public Meeting On Carroll Streetscape, Phase 8, Is Next Tuesday

Plans for the next Carroll downtown streetscape, phase 8, are in the works, and the City of Carroll will be holding a public meeting to allow residents to view and discuss the project plans. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 30 at 5:15 p.m. in the second-floor council chambers at the Farner Government Building. Adjacent property owners have been sent letters regarding the construction, which is slated to for completion yet this year. The construction and improvements will be done on: West Street, from U.S. 30 to 7^th Street; 5^th Street, from the alley to Carroll Street; Main Street, from 4^th Street to 5^th Street; the northeast access road, from 10^th Street to 15^th Street; and the 4^th Street parking Lot between Court and Clark Street.
