A popular wildlife camp is filling up fast and time for registration is quickly running out for the June camps. The University of Iowa Wildlife Camps programs provide a fun, outdoor learning experience for third through sixth graders, who will spend a week exploring, playing and learning about the natural environment, the unique features of their state park, the wildlife and their habitats. Cost for the five-day camp is $100 per child, with and the local one being held from June 26 through June 30 at Springbrook State Park near Guthrie Center. Camps are limited to 40 students.
