Youth Summer Play Starts Practices On Monday In Audubon

Practices for the Audubon youth summer play begin next week and there is still room for kids to join the playbill. This year’s play will be based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarves with Sue Barnes, Ashley Hansen and Pat Mullenger helping to make the play a reality. So far, 21 second-grade to seventh-grade aged children have signed up for the play, but they have room for many more actors to join. Barnes says, “I have been involved with the play for 15 years, and every year both kids and adults tell me how wonderful being involved in theater was for them.” Monday, June 12 is the first day of practice in the basement of the Memorial Building in Audubon. There is no cost for kids to participate in the play. Practices will be every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. After more than a month of practice, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves will have two showings. Once on Thursday, July 20 at the Memorial Building and Sunday, July 23 at the Audubon County Fair. There is no need to register to be involved in the play.
