Mass of the Christian Burial for 87 year old Donald Hinners of Carroll will be Thursday at 10:30am at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Halbur with burial at the Parish Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Arcadia American Legion. Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 4pm Wednesday where there will be a Rosary at 5 and a Christian Wake Service at 7 Wednesday evening. Visitation will resume at the church after 9:30 Thursday morning until time of Mass. Donald Hinners is survived by his wife: Lois of Carroll…..his children: Karen Norton of Mitchellville, Dale of Manning, Joan of Pleasant Hill, Alan & Jim, both of Arizona, and Jennifer Brockpahler of Ames….7 grandchildren…..14 great grandchildren….and his siblings: Marjorie Hacker of Halbur, Arden of Carroll, Larry of Manning, Richard of Carroll, and Jack of Manning.
